Wise teachings of Swami Vivekanand

Today(4th of July) is Swami Vivekanand’s Death Anniversary. He has always been an inspirational figure for several people(and me of course). Along with the spiritual person, he was also the motivational guru. At the young age of 39, he passed away from this world, leaving the unforgettable teachings for everyone.

So today is the day when we all should read his principles, in order to live a satisfied life:

Arise awake and stop not, till the goal is achieved.

You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.

We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.

All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.

The world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong.

All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.

Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.

The more we come out and do good to others, the more our hearts will be purified, and God will be in them.

The will is not free – it is a phenomenon bound by cause and effect – but there is something behind the will which is free.

If money help a man to do good to others, it is of some value; but if not, it is simply a mass of evil, and the sooner it is got rid of, the better.

Books never make religions, but religions make books. We must not forget that.

Where this present world is stucked in Depression, greed, want of power, dissatisfaction and slavery; teachings of Swami Vivekanand can make wonders in your life. All you need to do is to adopt his values.

I hope that this will help all. All the youngsters are requested to know your power and strenght, in order to fight against all challenges. The pressure to get successful and wealthy is on high today. We don’t even realize that there are so many things we should do, what we love to do.

Although Swami ji is not present in this world today to guide us. But his Good thoughts will always live in this world.

So always remember him and his lessons. He is the most wise person ever lived.
